Vol. 6 - When Life "Lifes"
Hey there, beautiful beings!
We all know those sayings “life happens” or “that’s life” usually said with uneasy or dreadful energy.
Road bumps, mistakes, and detours along this human journey happen to every single one of us.
They are quite literally a major part of the experience.
Without them, we wouldn’t be able to learn the lessons and perspectives necessary for our continued elevation and evolution.
Let’s learn together!

MY LATEST MISTAKE
So at the beginning of October, I had a two-day vendor event. This was my first time vending there but I have shopped there the past two years. I was very excited to not only be vending there but to be there in general as well!
Our space was in the middle of the shopping area, which made unloading and reloading the Jeep questionable, given the situation at the given time. I don’t like to be in other people’s way, and of course, I don’t want to have to wait on others either.
We kinda lucked out with someone straight across from us on the outside not show up. We were able to back the Jeep into that space the first day perfectly, with no problems.
The second day, the day everyone was packing up everything, that detail was not as perfect.
Someone two spaces down decided to move their vehicle to that spot way super early. (Mind you, all the vendors had to park away from the shopping area to allow a more enjoyable venue) They were not packing up, and it was not very close to that time either. So all of a sudden I found myself very annoyed and frustrated.
When we start packing up I feel rushed as all hell on top of having my toddler with me and trying to keep him happy even though he always gets in the way. So when we are ready to start loading the Jeep I go to get it, and pull through the walkway up to our space like we did in the mornings to upload. By the time we were ready to pull out and leave, the people that moved their vehicle early had just left, so we could pull through that space and drive out along the back side.
My mistake didn’t hit me until I was in the midst of making dinner that evening.
While I thought they were being inconsiderate of others moving their car early, I was inconsiderate of the straggler shoppers and vendors. I remember having looked at the car clock that said 1:55. So I was being rude in a different way that I never thought of or considered at the moment because I was so caught up in what someone else was doing and how it was affecting me and not thinking about how I was affecting others. There technically were still people shopping and some vendors prefer to stay with everything out all the way to the very end of the show. (Which was 2:00)
The worst part is knowing how much I wanted to be there and then I acted like that at the end. I know I can get frustrated when we’re out doing these pop-ups and I know that it is an area I have to learn and grow in.
We all make mistakes. We all have lessons to learn. We all are human.
